Alyssa Penner - Muted Mist - Acrylic on Canvas

I love to paint with freedom and expression. The landscape, daily life and anything with a bit of whimsy inspires me to create a world of my own. With the goal to distort what I see into movement and colour drives me to continually learn and grow in my creativity and voice as an artist. My landscapes are created from my life here on Vancouver Island BC. My own backyard is full of inspiration to pull from. Waterfalls, the ocean, trees, animals, creeks and rivers. I'm always chasing that flow state, where your mind shuts off and all your focused on is the painting in front of you
