Living and working in the Hampshire countryside, surrounded by sheep, horses and all rural life and nature have to offer - there's so much here to keep me inspired but it's the peace that comes from being outside that I really want to capture in my work; when I'm there I feel forced to breathe, to take stock and find hope in just the smallest of details...a new bud thriving on its own or that little flash of blue sky through the blue/purple storm clouds. Painting subjects that uplift me, with colours that excite me, using marks that make me happy. Using handwritten annotations, layers of mixed media and the use of vibrant and varied colour. My work is available in a variety of sizes to suit a range of budgets and I’m always happy to discuss commissions..
