Hello! I’m Artglober, a Canadian artist, dedicated to capturing the beauty of travel destinations through original paintings. I grew up in an artistic home in Vancouver, where my father was a part-time painter, and my parents owned a small picture framing studio and gallery. Although I pursued a career in business, my passion for painting never faded. In 2015, I began taking Studio Art courses at my local community center. Then, after retiring from corporate life in 2020, I returned to college full-time to develop my drawing and painting skills. In 2026, I launched my first collection and also secured a debut exhibition for 2027. I am thrilled to be participating in the Squarefoot Show! My goal is to create art that inspires joy. Blending contemporary realism with impressionism, my paintings feature vibrant, saturated colors and an optimistic spirit. Each piece is an invitation to pause, feel inspired, and see familiar places with fresh eyes. Ultimately, I believe artists help document the times in which they live, and I strive to do so with warmth, energy, and a deep appreciation for the places that move us.
