I am a lifelong artist with a B.S. in Art Education from Kent State University and a Master's from Arizona State .University. I taught junior high and high school art in Ohio and in Arizona. Now retired from teaching in public schools, I continue to teach in my own studio and continue entering my fine art paintings in local and online shows. Painting is my passion and I paint with various mediums and a variety of subjects. Love experimenting with a variety of materials and methods. Growing up in Amish farm country, animals became a favorite subject. During college, I did portraits at local fairs to earn college tuition. I now live on a small ranch and have a few of my own animals providing inspiration..
