Kirsten Levitt - Sun Soaked Water - Acrylic & Marker on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Kirsten is a visual artist based out of Strathcona County in Alberta, Canada. In 2006 she received a Fine Arts Diploma from Grant MacEwan University where she dabbled in a variety of mediums. It was painting that stole her heart and she hasn't looked back since.

Kirsten's paintings are an exploration of feeling and memory with an emphasis on colour, light, and movement. Somewhere between abstract and realism, Kirsten bridges these two opposites to create engagement within the viewer. Many of her paintings are a reflection of our Canadian landscape or the plants & animals that animate this place she calls home.
