Christine is drawn to the interaction between the colours and shapes that define simple spaces. Her style, much like a visual poem, strives to economically record only the essential elements of her subject matter. Christine’s focus is her connection to the Canadian landscape, drawn from her travels and recorded as colourful observations. She earned degrees in Art History and Education from Queen’s University, and credits influences from Canadians Ted Harrison and the Group of Seven’s Lawren Harris.
