Colleen Rieu - Meadow Song - Acrylic on canvas

Colleen Rieu is mixed media artist currently residing on Vancouver Island. Her interests vary from, realism to abstract and refers to herself as a "Moodest" as her preference of style coincides with her moods. Colleen started her journey at a young age, learning from her Cartoonist father and later in her retirement she took courses with Nicholas Wilton and Louise Fletcher. Her works have been displayed in local venues on the Island and she has sold internationally as well as winning 1st place abstract in the Boldbrush Contest hosted by Faso. Touching a viewers soul is her goal and if a tear sheds from that experience to her that is the ultimate compliment....
