Jacintha Krish - Crimson Lake - Acrylic on Panel

A visual artist and art instructor for many decades, my work is primarily in acrylics and mixed media as well as watercolour and ink. Constantly experimenting with pushing the boundaries of colour and form has made me the artist that I am. My style is contemporary Impressionism, my palette is bold colour. My love of teaching has broadened my horizons and helped me get to know and understand both students and collectors and their different forms of artistic pleasure. Working as an art instructor, my students and I continue to build lasting relationships as we journey together in our word of painting. My inspiration lies in the rich biodiversity of Canada, my home. The sights and sounds of the world around me constantly challenge me to paint the ever changing mosaic that is quintessentially Canadian. As an award winning artist, I show and sell my work in galleries in the GTA as well as in Vancouver, Ottawa and Niagara on the Lake. I also sell my work in the US, UK and Asia.
