With my B.A. in Philosophy from York University and over forty years of experience as a professional artist, earning over 70 awards, (including Best Watercolour Award (KPMG Foundation) at the 2005 Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition) painting has become a spiritual process that connects me to the world. My realism reflects attitude, not style. Developed methods to paint watercolours directly on gessoed panels, while painting / exploring light, atmosphere, and water’s transparency in Ontario, The Caribbean and Paris. What began as an exploration of light and form has evolved into capturing and expressing the essence of a place, anywhere in the world.
