Michele Rogers - Sunlit Soul - Acrylics on Canvas

🇨🇦 Michele Rogers, an artist from Saskatchewan, is celebrated for her diversity in subjects, including portraits honoring Indigenous First Nations women and reflecting her Métis heritage. Her work captures the stories and resilience of grandmothers and female warriors. Michele enjoys painting the every day moments in life, reminding us to slow down and enjoy life’s little pleasures.

Her painting "Leotie" won first prize in a juried art competition, with two other portraits receiving honorable mentions. Leotie was also chosen to grace the cover of the Women in Arts Network online catalogue.

Michele has had her ‘Fierce’ collection on display in a local gallery, and ‘A Grandmother’s Love’ collection is currently on display at the Gov’t House Queen Elizabeth II Art Gallery in Regina, SK, until June 21.

She was featured in a prestigious artist magazine in fall 2025 and is part of a three-part artist documentary titled The Art of Becoming. Additionally, she spoke at the WESK event for women entrepreneurs in fall 2025 and will be the keynote speaker at an event for International Women’s Day in March 2026.

Michele also teaches paint parties, inspiring others to explore their creativity and gain confidence.
