Jayne Mistretta is a Plein air impressionist , with a BA in Fine art. Being outdoors and painting the New England Coast is her passion. Every painting is an effort to bring a moment of light and essence of a place to the viewer. After spending some time last summer in Maine on Monhegan Island she has developed a series of paintings done on the Island and in the studio. Her work I has been in many internationally juried shows and you can find her work in galleries in New Hampshire and Newburyport.
