Farmlife in the rolling hills of rural Nova Scotia, is where Kelly finds inspiration. Daily life with the land, the nature, the animals and the people surrounding her provide ever changing stories and curiosities to portray in her creations. “…often working on several different things at once, and exploring and experimenting with techniques and the materials I have, keeps things interesting for me,” Kelly says, “ a reflection of new discoveries in the otherwise familiar things in everyday life.” Kelly received her BFA from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
