I am a Western artist whose work reflects the rhythms of farm and ranch life, with a focus on livestock and wildlife in both portraits and landscapes. Growing up on a farm on the prairies, I draw inspiration from the daily life of the land. Cattle in the pasture, wildlife on the horizon, and the quiet beauty of open skies are what inspire me to paint. ​I love using bold brushstrokes and lost-and-found edges to create movement and focus. I strive to use a range of colour, from gentle pastels to deep, saturated hues, to capture the shifting moods of the prairie. ​Each painting is both a reflection of my roots and an invitation for viewers to experience the grit, beauty, challenges, and nostalgia of rural living..
